6/10
When I lived in New York I expected Budweiser to be the number 1 beer. I was wrong. Sam Adams was everywhere and seemed to be most people’s favourite. (Not surprisingly next to the other weak rubbish on offer… Corrs or Miller anyone? I’d sooner drink the contents of the toilet.)
This is a rich and malty lager. Less fizzy than the lagers on sale in the UK (which is a good thing if you ask me). It has a “taste” which means it’s far superior than a lot off the American keg options. However after a while I do find it becomes a bit sweet. I find myself eyeing up my next beer and looking for something with more zest.
That said, Manchester United have just taken the lead in the FA Cup Final. I may need a few more tonight! 😄⚽️
