The people of Antwerp in Belgian are very proud of their local APA (Antwaarpse Pale Ale).
On one of my beer tours of Belgium, we stumbled across a food & drink festival in the center of Antwerp. Result! There were bright red De Koninck flags and umbrellas everywhere and everyone was having a relaxing drink in the afternoon. Brilliant day!
You get a fluffy white head with De Konninck and it’s quite a creamy beer. It really reminds me of Boddingtons, but stronger.
