Blood Orange Wheat Beer

Well this was different! I love wheat beer and was interested to see what blood oranges flavoured beer tasted like. 

This is brewed by the fabulous Adnams Brewery in Suffolk. They’ve started doing a few experimental beers for M&S. 

It pours and looks like a regular wheat beer: nice and cloudy with a soft fruity whiff. But this one actually smelled a lot more sweet than usual. Blood orange is actually quite a dominant flavour. It’s very sweet and tangy. A little too sweet for my tastes but if you like your orange then this is one for you.
