This beer is part of an elite beer family known as “trappist” (wikipedia.org/wiki/Trappist_beer). There are only 10 monasteries in the world that brew and sell their beers as trappist. If you ever get the opportunity to try one then please do. These beers have been brewed with care for over hundreds of years. You are literally drinking history. And it tastes good!
