I spent the weekend in Prague to sample a few of the local bevvies.
It’s quite different to the UK because most pubs only serve one beer (and it’s usually Kozel or Pilsner). But rather than keg lager like we have in the UK which is pasteurised (to last longer) and carbonised (because apparently we like fizzy drinks), Czech serve it unpasteurised, straight from the tank. Lovely.
There are many tank or “tankovna” pubs in Prague. As a beer lover myself, this was pretty cool and a nice change from the status-quo.
